April won't be singing in this year's (2007) contest, we missed the application deadline. Good luck to everybody else! Many thanks to everybody who came down and helped support April!

The 17 finalists competed at St. Paul's United Church on St. Paul Street on Saturday August 19, starting at 7pm. It will also be broadcast again on Cogeco, watch cable 10 for upcoming times!

Ticket sales were for a good cause, going to music departments across Niagara. Last year over $7000 was raised! It's not just a singing contest, it's a musical event! The two hour show knocked everybody's socks off!

The winner receives $500 and a free CD recording session. Second place receives $300, and third place receives $100.

Last year's winner was Stacey Chamberlain of St. Catharines. This year's winner is Djino Lefrancois of St. Catharines.
